ببركة وحضور صاحب الغبطة، انطلق يوم الاثنين ٦ حزيران لقاء كهنة أبرشيّة دمشق وريفها في دير القديس جاورجيوس الحميراء البطريركي والذي يستمر حتى يوم الخميس ٩ حزيران. افتتح اللقاء بصلاة الغروب التي ترأسها البطريرك يوحنا العاشر في كنيسة الدير تلتها كلمة ترحيبية وتوجيهية من غبطته شدد فيها على أهمية هذا لقاء والاجتماع الأخوي لما فيه من المنفعة الشخصية والروحية لكل كاهن على انفراد من جهة كما ولكل الكهنة المجتمعين والخادمين في الأبرشية من جهة أخرى من خلال تبادل الخبرات والهموم والتطلعات الرعائية. هذا وتمنى غبطته للآباء الكهنة المشاركين أن يكون هذا اللقاء فرصة للتجدّد والاستفادة على الصعيدين الروحي والعملي. يتضمن اللقاء مجموعة من المحاضرات وحلقات البحث والنشاطات.Meeting with the priests of Damascus and Rural Damascus in the Patriarchal Monastery of St. George Al-Humeyra. Wadi Al-Nasara, June 6, 2022 First day With the blessing and presence of His Beatitude, the meeting of priests, serving in the Diocese of Damascus and Rural Damascus, was launched on Monday, June 6, at the Patriarchal Monastery of St. George Al-Humeyra and will continue until Thursday, June 9. The meeting was opened by Vespers presided over by His Beatitude Patriarch John X in the monastery church. Then, His Beatitude delivered a welcoming and guiding speech, in which Patriarch John X underlined the cruciality of the meeting and fraternal gathering. His Beatitude explained that the conglomeration wi bring personal and spiritual benefit to every single priest on the one hand, as well as to all the assembled and serving priests in the diocese on the other, through the exchange of pastoral experiences, concerns, and aspirations. His Beatitude wished the participating priests that this meeting would be an opportunity for renewal and benefit on both the spiritual and practical levels. The meeting will include a series of lectures, seminars, and activities.
